The Myogauge Job Screening Test is comprised of 5 muscle tests and takes 15 minutes for the examination.

 These select exercises represent all lifting, pulling and pushing requirements that will occur on the job. The proprietary Myogauge Formula evaluates the test procedures electronically. If the applicant's test results equals or exceeds the averaged figure established by present employees, the applicant has passed the test.

The Myogauge is adaptable to test every muscle group in the body. For special applications we can program any muscle test that may be required. The Myogauge is portable and will fit into any car. Applicants that do not sign the consent form are generally a plus for the employer.

Myogauge simplifies the applicant evaluation process. If current employees are injury free because they are physically matched to the job requirements - and the determining factor is their strength and agility - then hiring an applicant of similar strength should result in an injury free employee. The majority of job injuries are due to over-exertion. Endurance and fatigue play an important part. It is extremely difficult to test endurance. To do so would involve testing an applicant for a complete day or two emulating the job requirements. This is not feasible. Myogauge has a practical way to evaluate fatigue and endurance. Since incumbent employees are not affected by over-exertion, matching their averaged isometric strength is an indicator of endurance capability.

The Myogauge System is available to your company on a fully tax-deductible lease basis. We install and train your employees in the proper use of the machine which only takes an hour. If your employee turnover does not warrant our lease program, we can test your job applicant(s) at any one of our testing centers.
